Ordering from Europe raises fair questions: will I pay import duties, will customs hold my parcel, and how long will it take? Here is exactly how it works when you order from Toptrail in the United States.
Duties and taxes are already in the price
Since 18 October 2026, our US prices are shown in US dollars and include US import duties and taxes. The total you see at checkout is the full amount: there is nothing extra to pay at checkout or on delivery, and FedEx will not ask you for duties, fees or COD charges.
We ship every US order Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) with FedEx: we handle the customs paperwork and pay the import duties ourselves, so your parcel clears US customs without anything from you.
What changed in 2025: the $800 duty-free limit ended
In August 2025 the United States ended its $800 duty-free threshold (the "de minimis" exemption), so parcels from Europe can now be charged import duties whatever their value. Because our US prices already include duties and we ship DDP, this doesn't change anything for you.

What we make for US vans
Replacement pop-top roof canvases for the VW T4 / EuroVan (Weekender, California and Winnebago LWB), the VW T3 / T25 (Westfalia, Reimo and SCA roofs) and rare roofs and custom sizes, plus magnetic mosquito nets and magnetic window insulation. Each product is made for one van model.
